Stay at Home Order:

The City of Willard directive intends to mirror those orders issued by Springfield and Greene County and ensures the maximum number of people self-isolate in their places of residence. This unified approach will enable essential services to continue, while slowing the spread of COVID-19 to the maximum extent possible. The directive does not apply to those traveling to work in an essential business or essential government function including:
- Health care operations
- Restaurants may provide drive-thru, pickup/curbside, and delivery services, however, dining room services are prohibited Essential infrastructure including construction, operation of public transportation and utilities, internet and telecommunications systems
- First responders and emergency management personnel
- Grocery stores, food banks, convenience stores, food cultivation including farming,
- Media organization
- Gas stations and auto supply facilities
- Pharmacies, healthcare supply stores and healthcare facilities
- Auto repair facilities

- Service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the sanitation and essential operation of residences
- Businesses that provide necessities of life for economically disadvantaged individuals and shelter facilities

Unfortunately, non-essential facilities and businesses, except those listed in Amendment 1 below, in the city limits must temporarily suspend activities until 12:01 a.m. on May 4, 2020. The City and county will be taking gradual steps to slowly open everything back up. On 4/21/2020, Greene County passed an Ordinance authorizing retail businesses to resume sales for curbside, mail and delivery orders only. For a complete copy of the original Greene County Order and the list of essential organizations (‘Appendix A’), click on the first tab below: To view Amendment 1 allowing retail businesses to resume sales, please see Section ii in tab 2:
