The City does hereby duly pass and approve a speed limit change on Jackson Street (Business 160), increasing and changing the speed limit to thirty-five (35) miles per hour from the location where such street intersects with 224 W. Jackson Willard, MO traveling west to the location where such street ends as it intersects with Hwy 160.

 Public Notice
On July 1, 2010 the City of Willard will be raising rates in accordance with rate increases set by the City of Springfield.
This is the last of five (5) yearly increases that began in 2006. For residential customers the rate will go from a base rate of $14.92 to $15.44 and the per thousand gallon charge will increase from $3.56 to $3.68.
For commercial customers the base rate will increase from $19.83 to $20.53 and the per thousand gallon charge will go from $3.56 to $3.68.
For instance, if you are a residential customer and have a 4,000 gallons sewer average per month, your bill will increase from $29.16 to $30.16 per month.
A notice about this rate increase was included on the back of customers utility bills in June. This increase will go into effect on July 1st and will be seen on your utility bill for the July 20, 2010 billing. You can view the full notice here.

The 2009 Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) has been posted online and at City Hall, 224 W. Jackson Street.
The report, required annually by Missouri Department of Natural Resources, summarizes water samples for the previous year.
