She oversees many of the City’s tasks such as agendas, minutes, business licenses, building permits, zoning, etc. She also is the secretary for the Board of Aldermen.

 

 

The City Clerk responsibilities are defined as follows:

  • Provides administrative support to Board and Mayor
  • Provides administrative support for Planning and Zoning Commission and other boards and commissions
  • Prepares for and attends all City Council meetings
  • Manages and maintains the City’s official records
  • Provides assistance throughout the City’s plan review and development procedures
  • Manages the accounts receivable function
