Mission Statement:  “To provide the highest quality utility services to the citizens of Willard by maintaining and improving the infrastructure to meet basic needs while proactively planning to meet the needs for future residential and commercial development.”

The Department oversees a variety of operations related to City maintenance and improvement of city infrastructure.  In addition to installing water and sewer lines as needed, other specific responsibilities nclude maintenance on:

      1        the sewer and water lines with camera and jetter
      2        all streets with patching, crack sealing, and snow plowing
      3        right-of-ways with mowing and tree trimming
      4        all public facilities
      5        all lift station pumps. 

The Department also oversees and responds to all animal control calls.  They are on call 24/7 in support of animal control issues as well as any utility service calls.
