On July 1, 2010 the City of Willard will be raising rates in accordance with rate increases set by the City of Springfield.
This is the last of five (5) yearly increases that began in 2006. For residential customers the rate will go from a base rate of $14.92 to $15.44 and the per thousand gallon charge will increase from $3.56 to $3.68.
For commercial customers the base rate will increase from $19.83 to $20.53 and the per thousand gallon charge will go from $3.56 to $3.68.
For instance, if you are a residential customer and have a 4,000 gallons sewer average per month, your bill will increase from $29.16 to $30.16 per month.
A notice about this rate increase was included on the back of customers utility bills in June. This increase will go into effect on July 1st and will be seen on your utility bill for the July 20, 2010 billing. You can view the full notice here.
