High water usage

ATTENTION PHONE SCAM: There have been multiple calls of individuals pretending to be City Employees. 
If you receive a phone call from the City of Willard, and are unsure of the individual calling, please DO NOT give them any information over the phone.
If you have received a phone call that you feel may be malicious please call us at (417) 742-3033 and we will verify if this is correct.  

Billing Cycle
  • 25th of the month: Bills are mailed.
  • 10th of the month: Bills are due.  A 10% penalty is added onto bills paid after the 10th.
  • 13th of the month: Cutoff notices mailed with a specified disconnection date.
  • Monthly disconnection: Service disconnected for non-payment of past due bill - additional non-payment penalty of $50 will be charged.

New Customers: No connections can be made on the day service is applied for. Service will be connected the following business day. To apply for service, new customers must:
  • complete an application for service at City Hall
  • provide a deposit ($100 or $200 depending on a delinquency check)
  • present a photo I.D. of both primary and co-applicant

Residential Charges
  • Water Service: $13.89 for the first 1000 gallons, $2.60 per 1,000 gallons thereafter
  • Sewer Service: $26.21 as a base rate and $5.85 for every 1,000 gallons of the average
Rural Charges
  • Water Service: $15.12 for the first 1000 gallons, $2.84 per 1,000 gallons thereafter
  • Sewer Service: $28.52 as a base rate and $6.36 for every 1,000 gallons of the average
