Suspect in Custody Following Recent Auto Break-Ins
WILLARD, MO – The Willard Police Department has taken a suspect into custody in connection with a series of recent auto break-ins. While the investigation remains ongoing, authorities continue to encourage residents to take proactive steps to protect their vehicles and belongings.
To reduce the risk of becoming a target, the Willard Police Department advises residents to:
Always lock car doors and roll up windows when leaving a vehicle unattended.
Remove valuables or store them out of sight, such as in the trunk or a locked glove compartment.
Park in well-lit areas and, when possible, use security cameras or motion-activated lighting.
Report any suspicious activity to law enforcement immediately.
While an arrest has been made, law enforcement officials remind the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
